Family Fun(:

Okay... SO!!! For my Mom and Dad's anniversary, my Dad thought it would be a good idea to make all of our immediate family, and some extended, come up/down to Utah to celebrate it. So my dad made it into a surprise party. This sorta made it difficult for me and Jeremy (my brother) to make it to Utah, though, because we were supposed to be on the same flight. Well I went to seminary dressed in normal clothes (with a spare change so my mom wouldn't recognize what I was wearing) and changed. Then I went to the morning side that was put on for us by Barbara Lamprect. It was a pretty good lesson. It was about how our testimony is like sleep. Anyways, so all my friend's left, I was sitting there waiting for Jeremy to come pick me up to go to the Airport. So me and sister Lamprect sit there for a while waiting for him, and about 45 minutes after I got out of seminary, Jeremy comes into the parking lot. We go and have a nice breakfast at Ted's, and then head over to the house and wait for Mom and Dad to leave. After a while, we get sorta restless so we call dad to see what's up, and naturally, they are still getting ready to leave. So we wait till they leave, and we go up to the house. I grab my bag that I hid underneath my crap in my closet, and we are off to Jeremy's house. In order to make our flight at about 11:30 I think it was, we were making pretty good time, but Jeremy's house was out of power, and he couldn't get his bag that was in the garage or something like that, so I sat there in the car for... lets just say longer than we should have... and he comes out with a bag he threw together in a couple minutes. At this point we think it is possible that we can make it to our flight. We get stuck in a little traffic on the way there, but there is still a chance of making it. We are about 5 blocks away from the airport at about 11:05, and we hit every single stop light there. We go to see if our car can get valet parked, but the valet isn't there. We then go to a parking garage pretty far from the airport, and begin running. When we get in the airport at the baggage drop off, it is about 11:20 or so, and we ask if we can get on. Unfortunately we were too late, so we took a layover flight and set off for Las Vegas. By about half way through the flight I think for a second and realize that the only pants I have are some old pajama pants. This is really bad... Haha(:

That picture is on the plane, before I realized that it is probably illegal to be taking pictures, so I put the camera away... So anyways we get to Vegas and have like 6 hours down time till our flight to salt lake. We head over to a nearby Denny's (by the way, the Las Vegas airport is like a mall...) and have a bite to eat. It was pretty yummy. We sit for a couple hours, Jeremy finds that he doesn't have his Cell Phone Charger, so he goes and buys one. We head over to our gate, there is a lot of downtime, I take some pictures to occupy myself. Walk about 100 times on the walking escalator (which I was quite amused by) I mean... LOOK AT THESE PEOPLE!!

THEY ARE JUST SITTING THERE. NOT EVEN WALKING. Complete abuse of the walking escelator... See now this lady, though you can't tell by the picture, knows how to use it. She is actually walking on it, and going faster that 2 miles per hour.

Anyways, so I thought that was pretty funny. I took some pictures of myself while we were sitting there... There were some pretty good lighting areas, and also some pretty cool statues and views...



So anyways. Lets fastforward several more hours to when we get off the plane. First of all I am freezing my butt off... Anyways, Jordan and Lanchey come to pick us up, and of course they are in the Audi... We load our luggage, and make our way to the Rodesio's (spelling) parking lot to wait for Monica, Mark, Matthew, Marrett, Angela, Cesar, Mom, and Dad. There is some creepy cop that keeps passing our car and doing noting, just passing over and over... we were a bit.... Frazzled, to say the least. Anyways, so the family (besides mom and dad) run over into Rodesio's (which by the way is a Brazillian restraunt where there is a huge variety of meats that the waiters come around with on skewers and ask you if you want it, then cut off a slice for you.) Okay so we are in the restraunt waiting for Mom and Dad to show up. I am playing with Matthew, and talking to him, saying stuff like, "isn't it exciting to see grandma?" and he is like... "YEAH!!! THERE SHE IS!!" And whaddaya know... there's mom. Looking straight at us... I am sorta panicking... So I am just like, "umm.... heyyyy... O.o" and so of course Jordan says I ruined it... But whatever. So there was some pretty good food there. We had a good time, I got a picture with everyone there, had a "rawr-fest" with Matthew, played with Marrett, and ate some Chicken Heart... it was surprisingly pretty good...





So, we finish dinner, and head over to Uncle Brad's house for some more fun...
When we get there, we set up our beds, talk for a while, give some nice hugs, go downstairs and play air hockey, throw jelly beans, and then head off to bed



When we wake up, Jordan, Jeremy, Dad, Angela, Cesar, and Mark go to "play basketball" (set up for the surprise party) While me, monica, mom, matthew, marrett, and I think Lacey... go over to go shopping... Some guy at the Kitchen Applience store intrigues mom with some solar oven piece of junk, and in the meantime, Matthew is BEGGING for some gummy worms... Dad calls to let us know that the party is ready and to come over ASAP. Monica tells me to do some quality whining and saying I am hungry, and Dad calls mom to tell her to meet them at the church where they are "playing basketball." After a while, my whining gets to her, and we leave. So we are going to the church and my mom has her GPS and we are freaking out because we think we are entering on the wrong side because she would see all the cars, but it didn't end up happening like that... Then Mom like half circles the building just to be nosy, and we head in... We have some fun at the party, and see some relatives, Mom says she was surprised. I don't really buy it... But whatever :) We have some snow fights, One of which ends with me getting snowballs shoved down my pants... Which you should not try at home... it was horrible... So we leave the party and it was fun





Later that night, me, Angela, and Cesar make a snowman for an hour or so. It is a fun time, it actually looked pretty cool... later we play a family game... Which obviously comes with some fighting, but it was really fun. It was a game where you all have lots of dice, and you have to try to fight for the top... Okay., I'm not gonna try to explain it, cause it would take forever... Anyway, we finish the game. Play some more air hockey/foozeball/pool and then me, Lacey, Jordan, Angela, Mark, and Monica play a game called sequence. It was super fun, and you couldn't talk, so we didn't fight. We all go to bed after a night of fun games, and get ready for a leave the next day... (for most of us, that is)





So we wake up and have some down time, then head over to the salt lake center and such. Have lots of fun. Head over, get a bite to eat at Rumbi's. It was yummy. Everyong except Mom and Dad leave to go back to their respective homes, and everyone makes it back safely.





It was a really great weekend, I loved it!!

Lights Out!

Hahhaa so this was a while ago, but i never got to blogging it.
Anyways. So after choir practice one day, me and my mommy were driving home.
We made it home, and got inside to find that all the lights were out for some odd reason. So when we found out it was a power outage, I started madly going through the house to find candles and matches. I found at least 15 candles, and surrounded myself with them. The funny thing was, that earlier that day, my friend told me that I should try sitting down and meditating. Random, I know, but hey, it was the perfect time. It was dark, and I was surrounded by candles hahaha(:
well I had a project to do, so I did it in the dark surrounded by candles with broken colored pencils. Needless to say, it was really hard, but I got it done, and it was a fun time(:

Hahaha so for scouts lately we have been doing the electricity marrett badge, so we were working on it, and we have almost finished. Anyways. After the first meeting, I guess the leader who was working on it with us wanted to give us something for the good work or something like that, so he gave us these hats from his company, Briggs Electric. They seemed sorta random and everyone thought they were alright, and so when I got mine, somehow immediately I looked at the back, and on the back of it it said, "we remove your shorts" I started cracking up, and proclaimed my new found joke. Everyone else thought it was pretty funny, and even the leader sorta chuckled, and said, "Wow. I was hoping nobody saw that..." Hahaha leave it to me to find it :)

Peanut butter GUMdrops :)

Hahaha it has been a while since I have actually used my blog, but something made me think of it. So during Sunday school I got this yummy piece of gum, and then when I was laying down at home, i tried to spit it out and catch it in my mouth... yeah... umm.... it didn't work out all that way, so it go stuck in my hair. It sorta hurt... but it was really funny. I thought I was gonna have to cut it out, but when I started screaming to my mom about it, she said to go get some peanut butter...

So I went downstairs and grabbed a jar of peanut butter and waited for my mom to get out of bed. Ironic enough, I had been thinking of PP&J about 2 minutes before. So my mom took the peanut butter and worked it into my hair. Apparently the oil from the peanut butter makes the gum not sticky... it took like 10 minutes, but I actually got it out. But in the process, my mom pulled out a rather large chunk of hair hahahaha(:
